Time Flies

Time Flies

“My Giant” called me up Friday asking me to hang out for the weekend. Friday night we spent at the house partying with twinks that “The Hobbit” invited over. However he had hurt his back earlier that day and spent the entire night in bed leaving “My Giant” and yours truly to baby-sit. Boy do I hate twinks, and of course there is this one who is a total looser that people wanted him to stay as well as he was trying to find any excuse to leave. Not to mention every five seconds he was either stripping out of his clothing or redressing himself again.

Saturday started off with breakfast and everyone getting ready to head to Oak Lawn to spend the day. I didn’t want to end up at the Halloween block party. But I had no problem hanging out till it started. We stopped by my place for a change of clothes as well as saw an old friend. Then it was on to “My Giant’s” work to check in and wait till it closed to bust out with the alcohol.

We all ended up party hopping a few times that evening before heading back to home for a pick up and drop off. “The Hobbit” and I ended up staying at home while everyone else went back to the party. I didn’t want to be out all night drunk. This was a good decision; seeing as how “My Giant” ran into his boss when they returned to Oak Lawn. His boss and his boyfriend seem to have a problem with me; I’ve still yet to find out what exactly.

Sunday was an interesting day. After breakfast “My Giant” took the two twinks home and stopped by my place to pick up extra clothing. We ended up taking this three hour tour of Dallas. Going from Mesquite to Oak Lawn by taking the back roads since the twinks were in the bed of the truck, and “My Giant” and I were in the cab; we let out the first boy. From there we hopped on over to my house. I quickly grabbed clothes and we were on the highway for the first time that trip. However that didn’t last long since there was an accident between us and the onramp we were taking from one highway to another. So we cut through downtown before entering the highway again. There it was a quick shot to Plano to drop off the next boy. Then we took the quickest way back to Mesquite which still was a lengthy trip to take.

Once back home the three of us began cleaning. “The Hobbit” spent all of last week on vacation and partying almost every night, so the place needed some cleaning. We cleaned every room of the house. This was mainly due to the fact that the new roommate was going to need his room cleaned up before he could move in. We had to find a place for all the stuff coming out of that room as well as making sure the place looked presentable. Then it was decided we were going to tackle the side of the garage that no one sees. Lots of trashing, cleaning, and rearranging went on for such a small area.

By the end of the day the only thing that was dirty was the three of us. “The Hobbit” ran out for dinner to cook while we crashed on the couch. After a long day of cleaning anything would have been alright to eat. Although we were treated to a very delicious meal that no one could stop eating no matter how full their stomachs were. We ended up laying out a blanket on the frozen lawn to look up at the stars, have a smoke, and end the meal with a nice chat.

Once back inside where it was warm everyone pilled into the bathroom to strip off all the dirt, sweat, and grim. Then we decided to watch a movie, which “The Hobbit” only saw the first fifteen minutes of before heading to bed. We finished the movie and sat on the couch trying to watch a program which we both fell asleep to. An hour later I woke us both up and sent “My Giant” off to bed before calling it a night.

The weekend went by fast. Well cheers mates, I’ll talk to you again soon.

I Hate the Cold

I Hate the Cold

For those who do not know me; I hate the cold! Anything below eighty degrees is not warm enough for me.

The Chill

Slowly it crept into the house late this evening while I was asleep filling each room with its presence. Eventually I could no longer ignore it and fall back asleep. Up I rose out of the bed clutching my blanket around me whilst reaching for my robe which had been thrown over the back of a nearby chair. I quickly pulled it on under the blanket, readjusting where necessary as to not let my skin be prickled with its touch.

It was the early hours of the morning and I was awake. I was standing in a dark room shivering, deciding on a plan of action, while trying to find that cozy position before shaking from the warmth I had ensnared in my wrappings. I reached into the crevices of my mind looking for a way to stay warm and put me back to sleep. It took a moment to illuminate, but I had finally come across hot chocolate as a solution.

Springing to life I dashed into the kitchen where it was the warmest. I drew out all the ingredients I would need: a saucepan, milk, coco mix, a spoon, and a glass. I turned on the gas stovetop burner and set to work. The brilliance in the plan was that by enacting it I was guaranteed to stay warm from the flames on the gas range.

In no time was I concerned with the air around me. I could feel warmth spreading all over my body relaxing my senses that had been on edge all night while the temperature dropped. As the aroma drifted up from where I had recently stirred in the mix, I was in my own world again thinking back on merry times. If I could freeze this moment and live in it forever I’d be in a better mood.

Once I had poured myself a healthy cup full of warm chocolate I returned to my room. It was still cold in the house, but I was warming up. I then logged onto gay.com where I ran into “My Giant,” whom I chatted with for a bit before he signed off for bed. I’ve been awake ever since trying to fall back asleep, but no such luck.

Given that I was awake and bored, I thought I’d rant and rave on my blog since as of lately I’ve been neglecting it. This is mainly due to the fact that nothing of interest is going on in my life.

The Latest Knitting News:

I need to find someone that I will be around on a regular basis who has a digital camera and who can keep my knitting updated with recent pictures. I’ve started on a second scarf that looks like it will take very little time to knit up; mainly due to the fact that I’m using larger needles and a bulkier yarn. Cheers for the quick projects! I’m still not sure if I like the color or not. I may end up gifting it to someone; I’m not sure yet.

The first scarf which is going at a snails pace, is I’d say about twenty percent done. I know I’m giving this away when I’m done with it. I’m sick of looking at it already. When will it ever be done? Ugh!

I still haven’t bought the yarn for any of my sweaters. Mainly due to the fact that I keep going out and spending my extra money on drinks and mainly pool. However, I think that may be changing seeing as how “My Giant” and “The Hobbit” now have a bar and game room at their place. The drinks and games are much cheaper there.

As a side note to the mentioned above, my World of Warcraft account is inactive. The prepaid game card time just ran out on it on the eighteenth. Damn, there is always something to turn around and spend money on! But this is something that I love to play; so in the end it’s worth it.

I also need to knit something for “The Queen Bee” for her upcoming birthday in November. Not sure what to make. All I know is it has to be something that can be washable.

Not sure what else to write about. It’s very early and I’m tired. I’ll talk to you guy later. Cheers mates.

New Bar in Town

New Bar in Town

Last night “My Giant” and “The Hobbit” threw their first major house party. It was a success. The only problem of the entire night was that I had a migraine; which of course had put me in a horrible mood and couldn’t enjoy myself. But the main concern is that it was a hit.
